Description

I was watching Deathly Hallows with my flatmates the other night (their choice, I didn't force it on them or anything!) and as soon as it was done I rushed off to read some of the book! Don't get me wrong the film is great, but when you read this scene it's just so much more powerful! So much so I think I'll have to draw it a million times more before I'm happy!

We've been on an HP movie kick in our house. Next weekend is HP6 and then the 2 DHs. Had to giggle at you 'not forcing them'. I've often wanted to force my husband to sit and let me read him the books (I do pretty wicked voices for the most part, even though I'm far from British, although McGonagal's and Seamus' accents are kinda tough. I LOVE doing Dobby and Winky and Kreacher!) Anyway.
THIS! I love the fact that you PUT HIM IN ROBES. The movies totally ignored their robes in favor of Muggle clothes for the most part, unless they were in class. I don't even know what he truly Was wearing at that point, but still, I think it's absolutely a great reminder that this is THE moment when he finally gets his answers.
The runes on the penseive - looks almost like I should be able to understand it - did you have something in mind when you drew that?
I really need to read that scene again...I somehow pictured it more...Snapeish...I dunno...like maybe he would've changed the colors to green? Don't mind me, it's just a thought, the book probably says... (okay, I'm a nerd, I had to go read that again!) All she mentions is that the portraits were gone and that the penseive was in the cabinet. *shrug*
Gorgeous art as always.
